WELCOME! Landscape Community Co. is a Landscape Architecture and Design studio based in Geelong.

We work with our community to develop spaces that connect people to their environment. We create practical and immersive spaces tailored to lifestyle or intended landscape use. These are spaces for pleasure, enjoyment, entertainment and support positive wellbeing through connection to nature.

Through the creation of these spaces the biodiversity of animals and ecosystems is supported helping to better our urban surroundings.

Services

On site consultation

The first step is to meet you on site for an initial consultation. This will allow us to get to know you, your needs, site location, budget and any future flexibility to be built within.

We like to involve all those who will be using the space to allow design considerations down the track to be informed, thoughtful and considered.

From here the next step is for us to prepare a fee proposal outlining the landscape design process along with any additional or associated costs that may be required.

Concept Design

We will develop a landscape concept plan illustrating the overall project vision. Concept plans can vary in content depending on the needs and wants of each individual client.

Once complete we will present the scheme to you. Adjustments can be made to incorporate discussions and feedback and a revised landscape concept plan re-issued.

Once you are happy with the design you can progress to a detailed set of working drawings and specification for buildability.

Construction Drawings

Following acceptance of the Landscape Concept Design we can progress to detailed working drawings and technical specifications for buildability.

This package of work informs the tender and construction phase by suitably qualified Contractors, or alternatively you may wish to DIY.

Drafting

If you have had a design prepared independently we can produce drawings for Council approval and assist you throughout the Council submission process.

Tender and Construction

We can assist in recommending or obtaining quotes from suitably qualified Contractors ensuring a smooth transition to commencement of works.

During construction we can offer on-site supervision to ensure works progress in alignment with the working drawings and specifications, meet quality expectations and accuracy and provide design clarifications as required.
